Disney (Wednes)Day: An Announcement

I’ve thought about this thing for a while now and so I decided to finally go through with it (possibly making this blog more regular, until I forget about it like the Traveling Thursdays *ahem*). What is it you might ask. Well my fear readers (I wanted to say friends but I didn’t want to be too presumptuous), I will try to make my way through all Disney movies and share my thoughts about them.

My mom wasn’t into fairy tales so I wasn’t exposed to them a lot when I grew up. Of course I didn’t grow up sheltered either but there just wasn’t a whole lot of contact. I also haven’t watched most Disney movies so this will be a fun project for me.

Probably every wednesday starting next week, I will share my thoughts on one movie with you, making my way through the sheer endless list if Disney movies. Let me know what you think about this little project of mine in the comments, if you like it, come back next wednesday for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Liked what you read? Please share it to spread the love!

Can’t wait for this! I have seen ALL of them a bazillion times. With 3 kids over 22 years I have most memorized. I am curious to see which you like and which you don’t. My favorite is Emperor’s New Groove (which isn’t a classic) or Tangled or Little Mermaid. Hate Hunchback, Pocahontas, Fox and the Hound, and Jungle Book. I think I dislike more than I like. But that could be from overexposure.

I remember watching Pochahontas on VHS at a friends birthday party in grade 6 or 7 soooo, it’s been a while and I have basically no recollection of the movie at all.

Oh man, I can’t wait until Aladdin day. That is my favorite Disney movie ever.

I’ve watched Aladin not too long ago but it will be a long time till I make it to the 90s movies, I’m afraid.

I wasn’t really a big fan of Disney movies as a kid. I think I saw them mostly at other people’s houses for sleepovers and stuff? I didn’t see The Lion King until about 1997. Maybe I should do a similar thing at some point down the track!

I don’t think I ever watched a Disney movie because I wanted to as a kid, they were either at birthday parties or at school. But judging from the 3 movies I’ve seen now (and the couple of others I watched with bestfriendboy before I decided to do this) they are kinda fun.
